Saw your note. I love this species and I'm pretty sure you have more art featuring them than anyone else on DA! Your characters and their lore is intriguing.
I'm also working on my own gungan related project; You have a good grasp of their anatomy, so your gallery has referances galore!
Thank you, they are my favorite SW species, I am very glad you like my work. Also, if you don't mind me asking what is this project of yours?
I plan for it to be an animated webseries.
It won't be coming anytime soon.
Synopsis:Story:
Star Wars: Empire (A fan series) tells the tale of a Force-sensitive Gungan born during the final years of the Republic.
Since she was old enough to comprehend, the force-sensitive Euho Ket believed she was destined to join the ranks of the Jedi Order.
After a revelation in her adolescence, she discovered that during her infancy, the revered organization visited the Kets on their home of Naboo with the offer of taking their child off to Coruscant for entry into the Order. Her parents, however, holding strong Anti-Republic views refused the offer, much to Euho's later dismay.
Their decision led to resentment and restlessness with the girl as she believed the Jedi Order could best provide her opportunities to pursue her remarkable ambitions. Her parents recognized this and sought to give their girl an avenue to sate her precocious and inquisitive nature.
This avenue came via the aftermath of the Trade Federation's invasion of their homeworld in the form of a young human male who befriended Euho and introduced her to the world of droid software.
This relationship marked the beginning of a series of events that led the young Gungan to a path she never envisioned for herself; one that seemingly offered great promise.
She accepted and embarked on a journey to a new life.
But just what in the Galaxy truly lay in store for her
Oh wow, very interesting. I would read it, I wish I had the patience for making a comic like series for my stuff, I have done a few one page comic pics but that's about it.
the series will run concurrently with the events of Episodes 1-6.
The entire aim is to showcase the lives of the Separatists and later imperials. Star Wars Canon is never really showcased the "other side". Like their convictions and motivations. It's the entire reason we have a conflict to begin with, so it's worth exploring, right?
